Training & Development

Some north east artists can feel at one removed from the rest of the country’s artistic community and its opportunities.  To combat this feeling of isolation, we stage training and development events through the year. Sometimes we bring artists from across the UK into the region to share developmental stages of their work; at other times we will set up workshop sessions or masterclasses.  Our training and development is specifically designed to address gaps in provision in the region. Following the highly successful Devoted and Disgruntled North East 2 Open Space event (download the full report here) we are launching a programme of professional development.
