A Creative Home
So many artists in the region have mentioned their need for space that we’ve been looking into the possibilities of establishing a creative hub, somewhere to house rehearsal space, dedicated administrative and hot desking facilities and a communal green room. Recently, in collaboration with NAME, Northern Stage and Ballet Lorent, we’ve been accepted onto a pilot project run by a company called Missions, Models, Money. This is a two year project that will give us the opportunity to spend a bit of time finding out exactly what artists want and how their practical needs can be met, cross artform collaboration supported and the cultural infrastructure of the region strengthened – all at the same time!
